Check-Up

EARLY DIAGNOSIS SAVES LIFE!

Every healthy person is advised to undergo check up once a year.

Check up allows the person to know his/her body and find out what his/her condition is. It gives us the opportunity to be sensitive to our health, which is invaluable to us and we do not sufficiently care in the rush of life.

Check-up is an early assessment of the status of healthy individuals and a possible disease that has not yet created a complaint may be early diagnosed with it. Early awareness and early treatment in all areas of medicine and in every disease will increase the life comfort and the life expectancy of the person. Remember that "Early diagnosis saves life..."

Check up means that the person takes care of his/her health. Early diagnosis of some diseases, especially cancer, is extremely important. Therefore, early diagnosis of such diseases increases the success of treatment as result of check up scans. Tests required to be included in a standard check-up are blood count, blood tests (liver, kidney, etc.), sedimentation, cholesterol and lipid levels, thyroid (goiter) test, hepatitis (jaundice) test, complete urinalysis, whole abdominal ultrasonography, chest radiography, electrocardiography and blood in stool.

In addition to the tests that should be performed on all people over the age of 40, it is recommended to carry out additional examinations for ophthalmologic examination, cardiological examinations and cancer screening, regardless of whether there is a familial risk. Those who have a family risk should not wait for the age of 40 to undergo these tests. Those in the risk group should undertake additional tests related to the risks they carry as of the age of 30.

Every healthy person is advised to undergo check up once a year.
